- Members are advised that the 2024 Retreat and AGM will be held on the 29th and 30th November 2024 respectively, in Kasane.
- Members are further advised that the following logistics have been put in place to enable them to attend both.
- Accommodation
The Secretariat was able to block 26 rooms at Travel Lodge at a discounted rate of P1349.00 per night (breakfast included). Members are responsible for allpayments in respect of theirrooms, levies and meals and are to do that directly with the hotel by no later than the 30th October 2024.
Rooms not booked by the 7th November 2024 will be released and members will have to make alternative arrangements for their accommodation.
- Travel
A group fare has been negotiated with our national airline, Air Botswana. Air Botswana will block 40 seats on their flights from Gaborone to Kasane departing 28th and 29th November 2024 returning on the 1st December 2024. These are direct flights. Unfortunately, there are no flights from/via either Francistown or Maun on the said dates.
The discounted fare amount is P4725.00.
Members are required to send their names to administration@lawsociety.org.bw to be forwarded to Air Botswana for seat bookings, however, members will pay for theirseats directly with Air Botswana.
Payments for seats will be open until 25th October 2024, thereafter the seats will be released and members will have to pay normal flight rates.
