Council

For the proper management of the affairs of the Society, section 60 (1) of the LPA establishes a Council consisting of seven members three of whom are legal practitioners of at least seven years standing and at least one of whom shall be a legal practitioner of up to three years standing and at least five of the members shall be citizens of Botswana.

In accordance with established corporate governance principles, the Council provides strategic leadership for the Society and formulates policies for implementation by the Secretary.
