The Fidelity Guarantee Fund is established under Section 33 of the Legal Practitioners Act. The Fund is maintained by the Society and administered by the Board of Trustees in accordance with the provisions of the Act. The purpose of the fund is to compensate any person who has sustained loss or hardship because of dishonesty on the part of a legal practitioner or employee of a legal practitioner, in connection with legal practitioner ‘s practice.
